THE SPOTS: The Red Earth Venue Ceremony & Reception Options

This desert wedding venue is unlike any other site in the area offering couples who love the outdoors a wildly stunning location to host their Moab adventure. The property features two main ceremony and reception sites: The Glass Venue (included) and The Remote Desert Site (at an additional cost). Here’s what both of these locations have to offer at The Red Earth Venue:

The Glass Venue

We worked with an incredible architect to design a pavilion-style space with three glass walls. Our intention was to create the ultimate indoor/outdoor ceremony and reception space surrounded by views that could rival our area Moab Utah national parks.

The glass venue features five panels of bifold glass doors (including two large glass pivot doors) that open to the outside with custom clay tile walls on the inside. This space is unique in every way and offers indoor and outdoor options that work in various seasons for both receptions and ceremonies. There is lighting inside and outside, running water, two restrooms, and a catering prep kitchen.

The indoor space is an 1,800 square foot enclosed building with three large outdoor patios covered by bistro lighting also perfect for cocktail hour.

These are your Glass Venue CEREMONY options:

  • Iron Arches Brick Patio: 1500 square feet, the south doors open to the main ceremony space with iron arches overhead and views of the red rock canyon. This is our most popular ceremony site!

  • South Patio: 1600 square feet on the side of the building with its floor to ceiling accordion doors that open to views of the sandstone butte. This is recommended only for smaller groups under 50.

  • Dancing can take place either inside the venue or outside under the Iron Arches Brick Patio illuminated by the bistro lights and the stars!

The Remote Desert Site

This is an open-air, outdoor, primitive cleared space (1000 sq ft) with a 19x19 stationary wooden platform. It features stunning red rock and desert views in ALL directions and you can even see Arches National Park in the distance! While this space is most often used for ceremonies, we also allow full events at the site.

The spot is located less than a 1/4 mile from The Glass Venue. Guests typically walk the five minutes to this remote location, however, they can also be shuttled over. We always recommend the walk when possible as part of your guests’ Moab experience!
